Each year during Advent, the historic St. Johanner market square and the region’s most popular shopping street, the Bahnhofstrasse, are lovingly decorated to create an idyllic setting for the Saarbrücken Christkindl Markt. With a giant Advent wreath and more than 80 festively decorated huts bathed in twinkling illuminations, Saarbrücken’s market offers an enchanting atmosphere.
